“If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.”
Alma Ruiz says
I recently found out that my son(25) failed his attempt to quit smoking pot after making a true effort to overcome his addiction… my heart sank!!
He’s been struggling with his addiction for a long time. Three years ago I had him on inpatient treatment, but since there are no sober-living facilities here in my area, he continued using shortly after rehab. (we live in Northwest Mexico)
after reading your book, I found the courage to ask him to move out of my house, but I did not stop paying for his therapy nor his meals… the limits I sat for myself, have worked so far because he’s respectful and punctual when we meet… I feel really sad for him, since I can’t afford to pay for another rehab…. and I see him suffer sincerely….
